My mommy and daddy adopted me from a shelter when I was 6 weeks old. The shelter people told them that they found me under a car. Mommy and daddy adopted another kitten named Nei also but we both were sick and he died. It was sad.

I lived because I'm really strong and smart. I'm the only female cat and I'm the top cat. There are 3 other cats in my house, all males. I call them "boy brains" because they're stupid! I run circles around them and I have leukemia! Oh I forgot did I tell you I have leukemia? I got sick and mommy and daddy took me to a vet and the vet said I had a mouth infection and wanted to pull my teeth. Stupid vet! Mommy and daddy took me to another vet who said I had leukemia. He said that it would be a miracle if I lived another year. It's been 3 years now! Stupid vet!

I'm the smartest cat in the house. Did I tell you that all the boy cats were stupid? If I didn't, they are. They are really stupid and I'm smart. They are real lazy too, they sleep all the time, but I don't. Mommy and daddy are always joking about where my off button is! I like to wake my mommy up at night because I'm nocturnal!

I had chemotherapy and I have to take medicine! But I'm still smarter than all the boy cats. Did I tell you that the boy cats were really stupid?

I often called her my little angel, and now she truly is one.

Elf came into our lives on November 30, 1990. Over the ten years that we knew her, she gave us great joy and love. Sadly, Elf lost her battle with Feline Leukemia on November 30, 2000. I've never known a cat like her, and although she is physically no longer with us, she will continue to grace these pages with her antics.

She wouldn't have had it any other way.
