"Joe's Room" Mural

This is a cute little room on our second floor that has an interesting roof line. We call it "Joe's Room" because the only guest we've ever had stay in there is my Dad, Joe Meier. Actually, the only overnight guests we've ever had in our home since we built it in 1991 are my Dad and my Mom, Joan, which is just the way we like it. Some time ago I had stenciled a grapevine pattern all along the perimeter of the room, which I've used above as a divider. This gave it an Italian countryside feel to me, so I wanted a mural that would carry out that feeling. The mural itself encompasses an area of about 8 x 8 feet. The photo on the right has been created as an "Image map". As you move your mouse over the mural the curser will change to a "hand" symbol, which indicates that you can click on that element of the mural to see an enlarged detail. The image map contains detail enlargements for the top of the column, the table, the pig, the rooster and the cat. Eventually I want to add some other elements to the sky, perhaps multi-colored hot air balloons?
