It's unfortunate that we have to have this page, but as promised at the beginning of this administration the White House would be up front and forthright in all of its affairs, be they good or bad.



The Spot


The first scandal to erupt during this administration started innocently enough. President Rudo and Vice President Chirper were having a meeting in the White House library, when the President noticed a strange spot on the carpet. What the media soon began referring to as "Carpetgate", or "Yellow Water" in the more scurrilous publications, soon escalated into a full blown scandal. To read the whole story, click here.

Youthful Indiscretion


The second scandal to occur centered around First Lady Bootsi. Although the First Lady was widely loved by the public she had apparently made at least one enemy along the way, who decided to do some digging into the First Lady's past. The scandal, sometimes referred to as "The Calendar Girl Controversy", involved some photographs that were taken when the First Lady was younger, and like most youths, not wiser. The Basket


It all started with a delivery that was made to the White House. The First Lady happened to be in the public area of the White House when she was told that a basket had been left in the Rose Garden. Attached to the basket was an unsigned note of a very personal nature addressed to the Vice President. The First Lady, realizing the gravity of the situation, brought it to the attention of her husband. The President, realizing the sensitive nature of the situation, asked the First Lady's aide, Rocco, to tell the Vice President that he was required in the Vermeil Room for a meeting.
